...In other news, I adopted a puppy (now a full-fledged dog), which is all too appropriate considering that I've been writing a lot of articles about pets for the Arlington Connection  (my beloved hometown newspaper).

Like it did for many, Coronavirus effectively changed my life overnight. There have been so many ups and downs, I'm calling it all "the Coronacoaster."

Although it doesn't have the same ring to it that 2020 does, 2019 was rich with big headlines that the world will never forget. Meanwhile, my life was without much change, and my name was not attached to any big headlines. I did, however, get the opportunity to write more, and thus to talk to more people and to learn more about the world in general. My favorite 2019 bylines were...
